NEEDED NOW!! :) Event Coach Lead students to become experts in their event. Students will work with you in small groups (2-6) once a week. You will facilitate their learning by following the NCSO guidelines to prepare for the competition.
Fundraiser A person to set up restaurant fundraising nights, contact businesses for financial support, write blurbs for donorschoose.org, or even write a grant. We have a list to help you get started!
Snacks For the parent who thinks they know more about healthy snacks for kids than any of the science events, you can take the charge of snacks at full team meetings.
Supplies Coordinator This parent would help the coaches to organize and keep track of the supplies. They will also help to gather supplies that are needed by working with the school. An expert in finding things? Sometimes this parent will google search for additional resources or approach local businesses and organizations to recruit help or to donate materials.Tournament day, this parent would keep track of the students supplies and have them ready for the Olympiads as they move between events.
Tournament Day Help On tournament day, helping to keep an eye on things, make that run to a nearby store if we realize someone forgot their safety glasses, help make sure students make it to their events on time, get lunch, or handle any other situations that may arise.
